On the heals of 9/11, the garden adjacent the Cincinnati Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland had been closed for nearly a year. The bank agreed to allow Susan to install her demonstration garden, which grew green beans, zucchinis and corn in raised beds formed from re-purposed windows, recently torn from a building.
