It’s kind of amazing that such large-scale prints emerge from such scant letter-size drawings. One imagines each click of the mouse transforming partially-rendered sketches into all-over patterns. In a strange way, Gary’s project resembles that of a singer-songwriter bent on sharing lost loves, rather than a surface-covering salesman.
