When I arrived at the Abington Art Center, I learned that the NEA had awarded the Abington Art Center to fund this magnificent hanging sculpture. Amazingly, most of the proposed sculptures involved hanging or floating sculptures in air, so "Hovering Above" was surprisingly proposal driven, not theme driven as it must have seemed.
