Terrie Friedman, "Breathing Wall"
Terrie's dad actually owned a grocery store in Denver, so she was perhaps more familiar with this environment than anyone. She had just started working with plastic wrap and sought to make a giant lung that would capture, and thus visibilize, the air circulating through the meat coolers. It was kind of amazing to watch this colorful lung expand and contract. This work stayed up another month, but eventually got worn out from all of the breaths
